Mestre Joãozinho da Figueira

With every special Sexta do Axé we realise how much we have grown and how priviledged we are to be able to share experiences with our special guests. After seven months of promoting Sexta do Axé, we have come to the conclusion that integration is done with practical and spontaneous actions, in a tribal ritual that provides us with the pleasure and happiness of being together, seeking the same ideal, which is the growth of our culture as a whole.
For the Special Programme this month, we have great pleasure in including the Amazonas Capoeira family, who more than ever have taught us that unity is the best way of achieving our goals.
The Amazonas Capoeira family is everything that we enjoy about the capoeira world, the energy, strength, beauty, humility, kindness and grace inside and outside of the roda. This is why we are sure that in this Special Programme, everyone will be able to learn with ability, energy and creativity, from this trio from Ceará who, even though they are young, have lots of stories to tell.
Boneco, Rejane, Rilene and the whole Amazonas family, welcome to our terreiro, to share experiences that will strengthen our desire to achieve our goals.
